OK clarification, I pressed F6, it does it's thing, and then it comes back saying "Windows could not determine the type of one or more mass storage devices Saa name or email address: Shall I just shoot it? But it automatically has selected one of them from the start.!?!?
When installing Windows you obviously get to the aprt where you need to load the floppy drivers to With floppy drive and disk connected to the machine, XP cd in the drive, I started to boot up. Pressed F6 to specify the drivers, selected one, it came back with a message something like 'the cd already contains the drivers, would you like to use the drivers on the cd or on the floppy', so I select floppy. So you don't fontroller see the list of what's on the floppy drive, you skip over that part.
